It is worth mentioning that Bahr Al Baqr village in Port Said was the last of the targeted villages in the campaign which addresses the spread of the phenomenon of underage marriage due to the customs and traditions that believe it is wrong for a girl to reach the age of 17 years without getting married and that she will became poor and suffer poor living conditions. The lack of awareness and education results in the girls having to work on fish farms and agriculture from the age of 7 years old
