70 days of continuous bombing in Gaza from 7 October till 15 December 2023
In light of the recent events in the State of Palestine, particularly the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the Life Foundation for Development and Community Integration expresses its deep concern and unwavering support for the people of Palestine. The Foundation is committed to the principles of justice, peace, and the protection of human rights for all individuals, regardless of their nationality.
The escalation of tensions in the region has resulted in a dire humanitarian situation, with innocent civilians bearing the brunt of the conflict.
The Life Foundation condemns any form of violence that puts civilian lives at risk and calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities to prevent further suffering.
We stand in solidarity with the State of Palestine and its people, recognizing their right to self-determination and the pursuit of a just and lasting solution to the longstanding issues in the region. The Foundation advocates for dialogue and peaceful negotiations as the only sustainable means to resolve the conflict and create a future where all communities can coexist in harmony.
We also condemn the killing of innocent children , the erasure of families from civil records, the continued targeting of journalists, the destruction of Gaza City’s infrastructure, and attempts at forced displacement.
Furthermore, the Life Foundation underscores the importance of upholding international human rights law and humanitarian principles. It is imperative that all parties involved in the conflict prioritize the protection of civilians, adhere to the rules of engagement, and allow for the delivery of essential humanitarian aid to those in need.
As an organization dedicated to development and community integration, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting understanding, tolerance, and collaboration among diverse communities. In times of crisis, it is crucial that we come together to support those affected and work towards a future where peace and justice prevail.
