solidify collaboration in executing developmental projects and partnerships across all areas of community development between “Life  for Development and Social Integration Foundation” and “East West Organisation for Integration cultures” in Vienna

Due to the rapid development in the social and economic aspects of society across all areas of life, particularly the unprecedented economic crisis, increasing poverty rates, the decline of the healthcare system, the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war and COVID-19 in Egypt and developing countries, as well as the worsening environmental and climate crises and their connection to the living and economic conditions of populations, those involved in social work and various other fields find themselves obligated to closely follow these developments.

In pursuit of unifying the efforts of institutions working towards implementing sustainable development goals both within and outside Egypt, this protocol was established to solidify collaboration in executing developmental projects and partnerships across all areas of community development between “Life  for Development and Social Integration Foundation”
and “East West Organisation for Integration cultures” in Vienna.

In this regard, “LFDCI ” is committed to its responsibilities towards society in order to promote awareness and provide services administratively, developmentally, legally, and technologically, collaborating in the provision of social, economic, and healthcare services for women and children, ensuring the availability of free and supported services through associations and civil institutions dedicated to various developmental fields.

“East West for Civilization Integration Foundation,” founded in 2015 under national number Zur-Zahl: 166447512, based in Vienna, Austria, specializes in providing developmental projects in collaboration with a group of expert trainers in various fields. These projects include workshops for children in border camps and children with special needs, aiming to integrate them into society, promoting and marketing Arab handicrafts in Europe, focusing on Arab literary publications in German, empowering Arab women and children in the West to preserve their cultural gains and facilitate their integration within European countries, as well as conducting integration and awareness activities about the risks of illegal migration.

Aligned with their shared goals and activities, and to support the development of work in these fields, both parties have agreed to cooperate in achieving these objectives and have agreed to organize this protocol as follows:

Supporting women’s and children’s issues, societal and humanitarian concerns, and devising strategies aimed at different developmental institutions (families, schools, media, etc.) to eliminate discrimination against children, challenge stereotypical views of women, oppose violence, protect children, and prevent their exploitation, in accordance with internationally ratified agreements in this regard.

Establishing collaboration between “Life for Development” and “East West for Civilization Integration Foundation” in the form of projects/initiatives selected, developed, and executed within an annual executive program, defining specific objectives, procedures, steps, and timelines through the following activities:

Governance.
Sustainability.
Economic feasibility studies for projects.
Educational and intellectual support.
Organizing psychological programs and life skills for women and children.
Joint collaboration in developmental projects.
Advancing joint projects for international grants and community participation CSR grants for companies.
The cooperation protocol was signed by Dr. Nermine El-Bahtity, Executive Director of “Hayat for Development and Social Integration Foundation” and a member of the Board of Trustees of “Hayat,” and Sonia Bumad, Chairperson of “East West for Civilization Integration Foundation” in Vienna, Austria
