Life participates in the National Coalition for the Protection of women by law

The issue of “women prisoners of poverty” or “Garmat” has been at the forefront of community work since it was launched by the “Nawal Mustafa” since “2007” and is being carried out in order to raise funds with a view to getting them out of prison.

Because the issue has not been resolved and all solutions focus on the “purpose not the disease”, the issue is not over and the solutions adopted by the various institutions have not succeeded until now to end that phenomenon that is spreading in Egyptian society like cancer in the flesh, and still the cohorts of the gardies enter prisons because of a simple religion or just for the air It as a guarantor of a brother or a husband.

The best and only solution to that phenomenon lay in “law and legislative reform”, which ultimately eliminated the exploitation of poverty by traders.

The Alliance aims to:

Amendment to article 341 of the Act on the delivery of the Secretariat.
The first written-off that women are imprisoned because of “receipts”.
Preparation of a legal study on the issue of the Gharmat.
To postpone the execution of the sentence to the sentenced person until she gives birth and completes her infant two years.
Activation of the article providing that the execution of a sentence may be postponed to a August if they are detained in the same case.
