A small business (A pushcart to sell fruits and vegetables) provided by Life Foundation

A success story started when the case (Y.A) turned to Life Foundation in Alexandria; due to his difficult living conditions and no fixed income after release.

Life Foundation assigned a team to study his conditions; carry out field visits, and validate the information provided and that he is indeed need help to remove social stigma. As Life Foundation is working on “Towards rehabilitation and community integration with focus on female prisoners” project which is funded by Drosos Foundation; so the foundation provided to the case several services as his needs.

After providing social, legal and psychological services to the case, he enrolled to income-generating projects as a part of Economic Empowerment Program; and he also received many trainings as ” life skills that qualifying for labour market”

After he completed the trainings, Life foundation gave him money for income-generating project “A pushcart to sell fruits and vegetables”; and he has proved his ability to manage the project and he now save money.
