Life Foundation for Development and Community Reintegration participated in the 4th “Akhbar Al Youm” Economic Conference at Al Masa Hotel under the slogan “Egypt.. the Way of the Future .. Investment and Export for Employment”

The conference will be held this year with the participation of Mr. Sherif Ismail, Prime Minister and members of the economic ministerial group, in addition to more than 2000 businessmen, bankers and government officials representing all productive sectors. In addition, a large number of members of the House of Representatives and economic experts, The conference will continue until Tuesday, November 14.

The conference will respond through 10 public and sector meetings attended by the ministerial economic group on all questions raised by the industrial society and public opinion as well as the plans of the ministries in dealing with all the current challenges, to reach the conference through the outcome of the discussions recommendations to the Prime Minister Including a road map for the future of the national industry and the economic empowerment of young people during the next phase.

Today’s news sessions are divided into two types: the first is a plenary session of 5 sessions and the second type is a parallel sector session, which also has 5 sessions.

Ismail pointed out that net foreign direct investment has increased to $ 7.9 billion, stressing that the government is seeking to improve the individual’s standard of living and services.

While the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar Nasr said that the new investment law sets a new framework for dealing between the government and investors, stressing that the law provides incentives and benefits to the investor focused on the provinces most in need.

Sahar Nasr added that the ministry has worked on amending the laws of investment, mass transport, bankruptcy and amending 70 articles of the capital law of companies, noting that there is a mutual trust between the government and investors to preserve the citizen’s right with the support of the serious investor, Of imports and a comprehensive development in different sectors.

Following the speech of the Minister of Investment, the opening of the first plenary session of the forum “News of the Fourth Economic Day” entitled investment and sustainable economic development of employment, export and competitiveness, chaired by Dr. Osama Saleh, former Minister of Investment.

The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Amr Gabal, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the House of Representatives, Mohamed Farid Khamis, Chairman of the Association of Investors Associations, Ahmed Al Wakil, Chairman of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Mohamed Abou El Enein, Chairman of the Egyptian-European Business Council.

On the sidelines of the conference, Life Foundation held meetings with a number of investors and associations participating in the conference and business owners. A number of issues were discussed; including the operation of the most affected and marginalized groups in the community. During the conference, Life also held a meeting with the President of the 10th of Ramadan Investors Association and Alexandria Businessmen Association And the investors of 6 October in preparation for the subsequent extended sessions to operate the category of those released in those factories.
