Life Foundation signs a cooperative protocol with Shabab ElSharkia Association in ElSharkia governorate

Under “Economic Empowerment of Female Ex-Prisoners through Mobile Commerce Vehicles” project funded by the EU; aiming at

  • Build the administrative, vocational, and personal capacities of 100 female ex-prisoners to operate, equip, and own 20 mobile commerce vehicles.
  • Build the capacities of 5 community-based organizations to design and implement awareness raising and advocacy campaigns, targeting 3,750 individuals in their communities, aimed at de-stigmatizing and facilitating reintegration of female ex-prisoners in their communities.
  • Increase and strengthen the understanding and community linkage of 100 governmental officials of the reintegration and rehabilitation status of female ex-prisoners.

On Sunday 28 October 2018, a cooperative protocol was signed with Shabab ElSharkia Association in its headquarters, with attendance of the President of the Board of Shabab ElSharkia Association Mr. Ahmed Abdulmajeed, Mr. Mohamed Gamal – Treasurer of Life Foundation, Mr. Atef Hafez –Manager of the project, and Dr. Rania Fayad – Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the project.
