Life Foundation for Development and Community Integration participates in the second day activities of the training workshop on “HIV prevention services provided to drug injectors” organized by the United Nations.
The following was discussed:
• Elements of additional services provided to injecting drug users
• The basic elements to mobilize injecting drug users
• Service management and organizational capacity-building
• Discussed some cases of intravenous injecting drug users and how to continue providing services to them
• Planning for gynecological testing services for injecting drug users, especially those living with HIV
This training, which is organized by the United Nations, is one of the events Life Foundation participates in as a part of a project funded by Drosos Foundation.
It is worth noting that, Life Foundation is implementing the project (Towards rehabilitation and community integration for prisoners back into society with the concentration on female prisoners) sponsored by Drosos Foundation from 2016 to 2019.
