In continuation of its efforts in civil society, Life Foundation held a meeting in Dakahlia on 31/7/2018 as a part of the activities of project “economic empowerment of female ex-prisoners through mobile commerce vehicles” funded by the EU.
Many of representatives of civil society organizations and authorities and executive leaders attended the meeting; including Mr. Ali Abdulwahed, director of social solidarity department and Mr. Nabil Eljamal, Member of Parliament.
There was a media presence which Mr. Mohamed Wahba, Editor at Dream channel; Mr. Wael Abdulaziz, Public Relation Director at Elraya Eldwlia newspaper; were among the attendees.
There was a massive presence of civil society organizations including Eng. Mohamed Abbas, director of development of small- and medium-scale industries Association.
Mrs. Maha Zakaria, director of environment development Association and she liked the project and emphasized the importance of rehabilitation the society not just female prisoners and she also pointed out that the project should continue after its specified period.
Mr. Ali Elhalw, director of social solidarity department said that the project has a great importance in society and it must be applied including its all activities to achieve the targets not lead to failure and he also said that the sustained follow-up is essential to save the efforts.
Mrs. Mona Elsaied, director of Shabab Elkhier association, Mrs. Noha Abdulhamid and Mr. Mohamed Elgazaly, general director of development of small- and medium-scale industries Association and Mr. Ali Ramadan, Marketing officer the Agricultural Bank in Egypt; also attended the meeting.
Views varied between admirations and express the wish to cooperation and provide support. The discussion was more real and all agreed on the need to implement the project and stand as one against the obstacles to the implementation.
The attendees thanked Life Foundation for its efforts in civil society.
