In the framework of increasing the efficiency of Life Foundation’s team in the field of campaign management and field work after the end of the campaign (Our Daughters Are Not for Sale). A joint campaign between Start Initiative for Rehabilitation and Life Foundation for Development and Community Integration as a key implementing partner in addition to the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights, presented by the Executive Director, Ghada Lotfi, who held a meeting to exchange experiences, then presented a presentation on how to manage and make campaigns successful

The meeting was held on Thursday 3rd August 2017, to exchange experiences and follow up the implementation of the campaign (Our Daughters Are Not for Sale) and the challenges faced by the team during implementation at the headquarters of the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights
The meeting began with
Acknowledging the focal problem (collecting of statistics – causes – factors contributing to the spread of the problem – the parties to the problem
During the meeting, ways were discussed to implement the campaign and the following suggestions were made
Setting the meeting time according to the circumstances of the target group
Selection of a campaign coordinator from the target area and train them on the objectives of the campaign, ways of implementation and preparation for the meeting
The campaign coordinator –member from the foundation’s team- should visit the target area before the meeting to measure the readiness and preparation of the campaign in addition to the choice of place
Holding a weekly follow-up meeting with the working group
Filling in the form by the same case
Keep the documents permanently safe and organized according to index approved by the foundation
Hold a periodic meeting with speakers in the awareness meetings of the campaign
Continuous training of volunteers and follow-up during the implementation of the campaign
After that, the meeting discussed (advocacy) – When do we need advocacy..? Who does advocacy target
The meeting also discussed planning, which includes
The stages of the planning process (observation – organization – management of the issue – identification of reasons – development of perceptions)
The meeting also included how to work with supporters
The role of supporters in the success of the campaign
How to call supporters

At the end of the meeting it was stressed to show the difference between the provision of service on the one hand and the advocacy on the other
